The Algarve is the region with the most hours of sunshine in Europe and a year-round holiday destination to soak up the sun!

The special features of Carvoeiro where the beautiful resort is, that it retained its Portuguese charm despite its good tourist infrastructure. There are no "tourist castles" or skyscrapers. The place is manageable, but yet offers a variety of restaurants of every style and all that a nice life needs.
The other highlight is the location on the south coast facing Africa across the Atlantic. You will find incredible rock formations and also beautiful beaches between cliffs.

When driving in both directions along the coast, you will find small holiday village as welll as fishing villages and smaller towns. On the way to Sagres, the south-west cape of Europe, you will find a varied coastal landscape with different characters. In easterly direction it begins with many small romantic beaches until the country opens further until you finally get to a 10 km long sandy beach at Faro.
Sports enthusiasts will find every conceivable water sport option: diving, fishing, sailing,surfing or just one of the excursion boat rides ... In the neighboring hotel there is a diving school.

And .. the Algarve is one of THE golf destinations in the worldi. Almost nowhere is the density of golf courses with breathtaking views greater than here. From the resort you can take a free transfer to one of the nearby golf courses!

The Algarve is not only the coast, but also includes the "backyard". What makes the climate here so warm and sunny is the mountain range to the north, keeping the clouds and rain away. But also for hicking the mountains are very suitable. Since usually a breath of fresh air prevails there  you can make a trip there to cool down on hot days.
From ancient ruins, well-preserved fortifications (eg Silves, just 20 minutes away by car), well-developed tourist village to larger medival-looking little villages, everyone will find something for his taste.
Of course, a shopping malls  is not missing, where you can buy all sorts of things or you can watch movies in the original version. You find a large mall in Albufeira about 25 minutes by car.
For families there are also a large number of water parks and aquariums. In just 15 minutes from us there is a big one.
Also natural parks, such as the famous bird sanctuary at Olaho are numerous.
